One plant. That's it.
Organic cotton from Mother Nature. Every PuraKai garment starts with one plant. Grown clean, sewn in the USA, and made to last.
Organic cotton. That's the standard.
Most activewear brands use polyester, nylon, and recycled PET. Our baseline is 100% organic cotton. When a garment needs stretch, we add just 8% spandex. That's it. No polyester. No fillers. No proprietary blends hiding what's actually against your skin.

Organic cotton, start to finish.
Softness, breathability, and integrity. The everyday fabric your body actually wants to wear.
Pure is 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton, available in three weights: jersey, french terry, and french terry fleece. No spandex, no polyester, no recycled plastic. The organic cotton is grown in India, spun into yarn at the same facility, then shipped to Los Angeles where we knit, cut, and sew the finished garment.
It breathes because it isn't plastic. It softens with every wash instead of pilling. It doesn't trap heat or smell. And when you're done with it, years from now, it composts.
What your clothes do, they do all day.
Your skin is in contact with fabric sixteen hours a day. It should be a natural fabric, not petroleum. Soft, breathable, GOTS certified.
01 · Against your skin
Breathes, doesn't trap
Organic cotton lets air and moisture move. It doesn't hold heat, it doesn't hold odor, and it doesn't sit against your body the way plastic does.
02 · Grown clean
No forever chemicals
GOTS certification means no synthetic pesticides in the field, no PFAS in processing, and a clean chain of custody from seed to sewn garment.
03 · Lives long, ends well
Softens, then composts
Organic cotton gets better with every wash instead of pilling. And when a garment's time is done, the fiber goes back to the earth, not to a landfill for two hundred years.
Traceable, every step.
Every PuraKai garment follows the same four steps. No subcontracted mystery middle. No rebranded blanks.
Grown & spun
India. GOTS-certified organic cotton and GOTS-certified organic cotton yarn, grown and spun at the same certified facility. The fiber certificate travels with the yarn.
Knit
Vernon, Los Angeles. Yarn becomes fabric.
Cut & sewn
South El Monte, Los Angeles. Four sewing operators, eight machines. Every garment cut and sewn under one roof.
Garment-dyed & finished
Los Angeles dyehouse. Every garment is dyed whole, not piece-dyed before assembly. AZO-free dyes, back to South El Monte for QC and ship. Every stage inside a 10-mile radius.
What's in. What's never.
