• Billion Baby Turtles - Their Mission: Billion Baby Turtles was founded by Dr. Wallace J. Nichols, Brad Nahill and Fabien Cousteau because six out of seven species of sea turtles around the world are endangered or threatened. The goal is to reverse this decline by saving one billion baby turtles around the world over the next decade.

  Their Strategy: Billion Baby Turtles supports sea turtle conservation organizations that work to protect sea turtle hatchlings across Latin America. The funds go towards paying local residents to patrol important turtle nesting beaches, protecting turtles that come up to nest, and ensuring that the eggs are protected.

  PuraKai's Role: PuraKai funds go directly to the Pacuare Beach, Costa Rica Sea Turtle Hatchery. Every cent raised goes directly to the operating budget at this hatchery.
